This past week, I had the pleasure of conducting a free training workshop titled “Building AI-Based Cybersecurity Pipelines”. The workshop was aimed at students, with most attendees hailing from Georgia Tech, the University of Washington, and Seattle University. Here’s a quick summary of the event and its impact:
Participation:
- 47 students registered for the workshop.
- 20 attended the first live session on Tuesday.
- 7 additional students watched the session recordings.
- 10 students have already completed the final project and received certificates issued by NVIDIA.
- The rest are planning to finish their projects this weekend to earn their certificates.
Feedback Highlights:
- Survey Responses: We’ve received 11 post-workshop survey responses so far.
- Impact on Growth: 100% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, “I believe this workshop will contribute positively to my professional growth in cybersecurity.”
- ISC2 Awareness: 91% of respondents either had never heard of ISC2 or learned something new about ISC2 certificates (e.g., CC or CISSP) through this workshop.
- Net Promoter Score (NPS): The workshop achieved an impressive NPS of 64.
I’m thrilled by the engagement and feedback from the participants. Seeing the enthusiasm for exploring AI’s role in cybersecurity, combined with new awareness of professional certifications like those from ISC2, is truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to all the students who participated, completed their projects, and shared their insights through the survey. Let’s keep building the future of AI-driven cybersecurity together! 🚀
