ISC2 Seattle Board Elections

We are pleased to announce that the official election for our Chapter Board Treasurer and Director of Memberships Officers will occur March, 2026.

In accordance with the ISC2 Seattle Chapter Bylaws, we will be conducting Board Elections for those two Officer positions for a three-year term (May 2026 – May 2029) using online voting.

Service on the board gives you a chance to guide the direction of our chapter and help shape the profession. We encourage you to consider serving on the Board of Directors if you are a member in good standing and have a current ISC2 certification.

If you are interested in serving as an ISC2 Seattle Board member complete the Elections Nominations form. The form requests the following information:

Board Position
Name
Email Address
ISC2 Membership number (ISC2 officers must be certified)
Brief biography / Description (Include your Security Experience, Certifications)
Statement of interest and goals if elected to position

All candidate information will be located on the ISC2 Seattle website. The election committee can provide additional information as needed. Please feel free to email us, if you are interested in discussing particular Board positions in more detail.

Voting will occur from March 6 to April 2, 2026. The results will be announced at the May 2026 general meeting.

ISC2 Community

Are you aware that ISC2 has a community place for cybersecurity professionals?

#Copied from here https://community.isc2.org/t5/Welcome/ISC-Community-Usage-Policy-Guidelines-Updated-August-2020/m-p/38340

Our online Community is a place for cybersecurity professionals – including ISC2 members, non-members, certification candidates and others – to connect, collaborate and share knowledge and best practices related to the very broad topic of security. This encompasses discussions around new technologies, best practices, new regulations, professional development, the challenges and opportunities facing the cybersecurity workforce, ways to make the most of your ISC2 certification and membership, and much more. We would like to keep this Community a place for appropriate cybersecurity topics and encourage all off-topic discussions to be held elsewhere.

The Seattle Chapter would like to encourage all members to join the discussion at https://community.isc2.org/t5/memberships/memberspage/node-display-id/grouphub%3AChapter_Seattle/

General Meeting CPE Submission

To have the (ISC)2 Seattle Chapter submit a member’s CPEs automatically, they must input their ISC2 number on the Zoom registration form. Please do this before each meeting. Any members attending the meetings and failing to submit their CISSP membership numbers will need to submit their own CPEs on the (ISC)2 website.
